Green House Tambopata is one of the best locally-owned, family-run lodges near Puerto Maldonado.

During my two trips there, the guides took me to Lake Yacumama for sunset, along the Tambopata River for kayaking and looking for nocturnal wildlife, and on a visit to La Casa de los Monos. Photos of the activities and wildlife I saw with Green House Tambopata guides are below.
