My first solo trips were in Europe: France, Italy, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Years later, in 2005, I started blogging during a solo month in Cambodia. Then I started living abroad: Morocco, Türkiye, Bangladesh and Peru. I hope these blogs inspire you to travel! Looking for international jobs? Check out Jooble!
From Ushuaia in the south to Jujuy in the north, I’ve loved every place I’ve traveled in Argentina.
Living in Bangladesh for two years, I was able to explore some of its most challenging and most beautiful aspects.
I traveled around Bahia and visited Brasilia, gathering travel tips and enjoying the food, music and people.
This was my first solo trip, in 2005. I loved Phnom Penh, Angkor Wat, Sihanoukville and Bokor National Park.
So far, my travels around Chile have all been in the far south, but I have tons of travel tips for Chilean Patagonia and plans to go north.
I’ve loved the little I’ve seen of Bogotá and Cartagena and can’t wait to go back and see more of Colombia.
One trip to the Caribbean coast and a second trip to the Pacific Coast showed me that Costa Rica deserves it’s eco-friendly reputation.
A weekend get-away from Istanbul, I had a fabulous time driving around the island and discovering things along the way.
I lived in France years before I started blogging, so these blogs are my return trips to visit friends there.
My first trip to Malaysian Borneo fulfilled a dream from middle school and the second was an adventure with friends.
From Baja California’s whale sharks to Mexico City’s food to the cenotes of Quintana Roo, I have fallen in love with every bit of Mexico.
My first trip to Peru was in 2013 and I moved to Cusco in 2019. Since then I’ve been writing about Peru almost nonstop.
I visited Spain in 2008 and 2014, trying hit all the cities. I saw Granada, Sevilla, Madrid and Barcelona and loved it all.
I lived in Istanbul 2011-2012 and took every opportunity to travel around Türkiye. I am still enamored with everything I saw there.
I served in Peace Corps in Morocco 2005-2007 and have returned twice as a tourist to this spectacular bit of North Africa.
I went to Romania for Christmas 2011 and loved the holiday festivities in Bucharest: ice skating, parades and markets.
During a few trips to Thailand, I spent time in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and the island of Krabi. Every trip was magical.
My trips to the south in 2005 and the north in 2013 showed me how diverse the country is - and how beautiful.

I visited a friend’s family during Durga Puja and learned so much about the culture of Nepal during my stay near Kathmandu.
I flew through Singapore as often as possible when I lived in Bangladesh. Each time with a layover of 2 or 3 days.
I visited Togo in 2006 to see a friend who was serving in Peace Corps there. She took me to the region of Atakpamé to see rural Togo.
