The island of Tierra del Fuego, in Patagonia, boasts both Emperor and Humboldt penguins, plus birds as exotic as pink flamingoes. The Peruvian coast, from Tumbes in the north to Paracas in the south is home to pelicans, cormorants, terns, boobies and even Humboldt penguins. Manu National Bioreserve in the Peruvian Amazon has some of the most amazing biodiversity in the world.
