The city I first fell in love with in 2013, and made my home in 2019, still enchants me. I love the Incan architecture, the foundations of buildings with each stone fit perfectly together. Colonial architecture is beautiful, but I am more impressed by the architecture that survived the Spanish destruction.

Cusco’s Plaza de Armas is both the heart and soul of this historic city. During the Incario and Spanish conquest, it was a bloody place. Now it is full of festivals and fun events.
